Dr Jagdish Sheth, Charles H. Kellstadt Professor of Marketing at Emory University, and the author of the book ‘CHINDIA RISING - How China and India will benefit your business’, addressed the students of Mumbai Business School on 30th of July. The discussions mainly revolved around the role of China in the world economy, how it affects the other nations and where does India stand. He focused on the best domestic business opportunities and the areas that budding entrepreneurs need to focus. He explained why a market-driven "Chindia" is fast emerging and the growing influence of India in the world economic affairs. Dr. Sheth affirmed his belief that India is destined to emerge as a globally integrated economic power despite periodic setbacks and debates.
