Mr. R. Ramakrishnan is the Executive Director of Bajaj Electricals Limited and serves on the Board of the Company. He also serves as a Director on the Board of M/s. Hind Lamps Limited, UP, M/s. Starlite Lighting, Nasik and of M/s. Bajaj Ventures Limited, Pune.
He plays an active role in various Industry Associations such as the Economic Affairs Committee of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Executive Committee of Bombay Management Association (BMA), Executive Council of the Indian Society of Advertisers (ISA) and the Customer Complaints Council of the Advertising Standards Council of India. He is also a member of the Corporate Governance and Governance Committee of the Indian Merchants Chamber. He has been an active participant in the CII – WEF India Economic Summits.
Mr. Ramakrishnan is a recipient of various Awards such as “Business Leadership Award ” of Institute for Technology & Management, Mumbai during 2006, “Indira Super Achievers Award” during 2004 and HR Excellence Award for “Organization That Creates Fun & Joy at Work” during 2005. Asian Paints , Hyderabad plant won the “ Jawaharlal Nehru Trophy ” in 1996 for the Best Productivity improvement in Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. Ramakrishnan is considered as an expert on India and China, Economic Policies, Manufacturing competencies, VAT etc and has been an active speaker on various TV channels and other public platforms. Mr. Ramakrishnan also delivers lectures on Marketing and Leadership in Management Development Programmes and Business Schools.
