Padmashri Bala Balachandran is a distinguished Professor of Accounting Information Systems and Decision Sciences at Kellogg School of Management. Dr. Bala's career in education spans almost over 40 years. Leading corporates in the US and India have received his valuable guidance in Performance Evaluation, Cost Management and Strategic Decision making models. The industry keenly awaits completion of his book on cost management in an automated manufacturing environment. That India is in his heart is demonstrated by his laudable efforts in creation of renowned management education institutions: MDI- Gurgaon, ISB- Hyderabad and Great Lakes Institute of Management- Chennai.
